Game Overview

A Legendary Pairing.

Cut down entire legions of enemies as Link, Zelda, Midna and other characters from The Legend of Zelda franchise using over-the-top powerful Dynasty Warriors-style moves. This tour de force through the beloved locales of Hyrule will have players battling some of the fiercest enemies in The Legend of Zelda history. Two players can play local co-op, with one player joining with the Wii U GamePad controller and another with the Wii U Pro Controller or Wii Remote + Nunchuk controllers (additional accessories are sold separately).

Gold Skulltula items

Defeat a Gold Skulltula to receive an illustration piece. After you obtain a particular number of illustration pieces, the apothecary in the bazaar will be upgraded and contain more items. There are five illustrations. Collecting all of the pieces for an illustration and completing it will unlock a special 'Rewards Map' stage in Adventure mode. There are a total of 100 illustration pieces and 100 Gold Skulltulas. To use the item, press ZR.

Apothecary level 1 and Red Potion: Craft your first 'Empty Bottle I' badge.
Apothecary level 2 and Purple Potion: Collect 2 illustration pieces.
Apothecary level 3 and Blue Potion: Collect 7 illustration pieces.

Classic The Legend Of Zelda title screen

Remain idle at the title screen. After about three minutes, the storyline introduction will begin. Skip it and wait at least three minutes and a revised version of the original The Legend Of Zelda title screen will appear, followed by the introduction music from that game.

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time references

Move to the northernmost area of 'Temple Of Souls', and look at the fountain to see the heads that are spitting out water are King Zora from The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time.

Play 'The Water Temple' mission in Legend mode. After encountering Fake Zelda inside the Water Temple, King Dodongo will appear to attack your allies. Darunia and Ruto will appear to fight the monster and aks that you remain where you are and complete the mission. Instead of finishing the mission, go to King Dodongo. Instead of the usual yellow Dodongo that appears elsewhere, the black-scaled version with large crystals on its shoulders, which appeared in The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, can be seen.
