Scilab 6.1.0 is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL) v2.0. Prior to version 6.0.0, Scilab was licensed under the terms of the CeCILL license v2.1, and continues to be available under such terms.

Note: Nextimage 5 licenses are backwards compatible when installing Nextimage 4.5.2 or any other later Nextimage 4 version, in case you need to install a 32 bit version of the Nextimage software because of OS restriction. Caution: Nextimage 4 does not support the HD Ultra X and IQ Flex scanner ranges. Corrected - RAW image of K-7 and other previous products cannot develop (include photo print and preview of Laboratory mode) on version 5.6.1. Corrected - When pressing area expanding button on cropping of Laboratory mode, cropping coordinate is out of position.

Good chances are, you have a 64 bits machine!
But the 32 bits version will work in any cases.
