Install TightVNC Viewer for connecting to Computer Labs Remote Desktop
I installed the latest tightVNC version 2.8.2.1 but when i try to to connect to other computer from my other computers. It would prompt for a password and i will type correct password so then say, 'Connection has been gracefully closed.' I tried restarting the VNC service, rebooting, reinstalling TightVNC. Nothing worked.plshelp me. TightVNC Viewer Portable 2.5.2 Dev1. Description: TightVNC is a free remote control software package. In order to connect from a Windows comptuter to a remote MacOS Desktop, the a VNC Viewer is required.

- Download TightVNC installer from this link:

- When prmopted to choose the setup type, choose Custom ..
- Under Custom Setup, click the arrow under TightVNC Server and select Entire feature will be unavailable
- When the setup window looks like this, Click Next.
- Make sure Associate .vnc files with TightVNC Viewer is checked, and click Next.
- Click Install.
